Welcome to Baked by Two, a home-based bakery operating out of Ontario, Canada. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the contact and order forms on this website. Please read them before submitting a message or placing an order.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By submitting the contact form or order form on this website — whether for an order inquiry, a general question, or any other purpose — you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. This agreement is formed electronically and is valid and enforceable under the Electronic Commerce Act, 2000, S.O. 2000, c. 17 (Ontario) and applicable Canadian federal law.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not submit any forms on this website.

2. Nature of the Service

Baked by Two is a home-based bakery that accepts orders through this website’s contact form. Please note:

• Estimates only: All prices displayed on this website are estimates. Your final order total will be confirmed by email before any payment is required.
• No obligation to accept: Baked by Two reserves the right to decline any order at our sole discretion, for any reason, including product availability, delivery logistics, or capacity.
• Ontario only: At this time, we only serve within the Province of Ontario.
• Not a binding purchase: Submitting an order form does not constitute a binding purchase. A binding agreement is formed only when we confirm your order by email and both parties agree on the final price.

3. Allergen Disclaimer

Our products may contain or come into contact with common allergens, including but not limited to: wheat (gluten), eggs, dairy (milk, butter), soy, tree nuts, peanuts, and sesame. All products are prepared in a home kitchen that handles these allergens.

If you have a food allergy or dietary restriction, please inform us in the Special Requests section of the order form. While we do our best to accommodate, we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment.

By placing an order, you acknowledge this allergen risk and agree that Baked by Two shall not be held liable for allergic reactions.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the forms on this website only for legitimate, respectful communication. You must not submit messages that:

• Are abusive, hostile, threatening, or harassing;
• Constitute spam or unsolicited commercial messages contrary to Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL), S.C. 2010, c. 23;
• Include malicious code, phishing content, or attempts to exploit the website;
• Impersonate another person or entity;
• Are otherwise unlawful under Ontario or Canadian federal law.

5. Pricing & Payment

• All prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD).
• Box deal pricing is applied automatically based on cookie quantity.
• The estimated total shown on the website is for reference only. The final price will be confirmed before payment.
• Payment details and methods will be communicated via email once your order is confirmed.

6. Cancellations & Refunds

Since orders are confirmed by email before payment, you may cancel at any time before payment is made. Once payment has been accepted and baking has begun, refunds may not be available. Please contact us as early as possible if you need to modify or cancel your order.

7. Limitation of Liability

This website and its forms are provided on an “as is” basis. Baked by Two makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the availability or fitness of this website for any particular purpose.

To the fullest extent permitted by Ontario law, Baked by Two shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the website or consumption of our products, except as required by applicable consumer protection law.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable federal laws of Canada. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario, Canada.

Aside from Cloudflare Turnstile, no personal information is shared with any third party — no analytics, no advertising networks, no data brokers.

4. How Your Information Is Stored

Form submissions are received securely by Baked by Two. Server audit logs (IP addresses, user agents) are retained for 90 days, then automatically deleted.

Order details, name, and email may be retained in our email records for as long as necessary to fulfil and manage your order. Reasonable safeguards are in place to protect your information.

5. Your Rights Under PIPEDA

Under PIPEDA, you have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of personal information held about you (responded to within 30 days).
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate information.
• Deletion: Request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal retention obligations.
• Withdraw consent: Withdraw consent for processing at any time (does not affect prior processing).

Ordering Policies

Ordering Policy

All orders are placed on a pre-order basis only. We do not offer same-day or walk-in purchases. Orders must be submitted before the announced cutoff time for each release or “drop.”

Each drop has a limited number of spots available, and orders are fulfilled on a first come, first served basis. Once all spots are filled, ordering will close until the next drop.

An order is considered confirmed only after full payment has been received. If payment is not completed, the order will not be processed or reserved.

Payment Policy

Full payment is required at the time of placing your order. We currently accept the following payment methods:

• E-transfer
• Cash (if pre-arranged)

Orders will not be prepared or held without payment. Failure to complete payment may result in your spot being released to another customer.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change. Cancellations must be made at least 24–48 hours before your scheduled pickup time.

Cancellations made within this window may be eligible for a refund or credit at our discretion. Late cancellations (less than 24 hours before pickup) may not be refunded, as your order will likely already be in preparation.

No-shows or failure to pick up your order without notice will not be eligible for a refund.

Pickup Policy

All orders are pickup only. We do not offer delivery at this time.

Pickup time slots will be assigned after your order is confirmed. Please arrive within your scheduled window to ensure a smooth handoff.

For safety and privacy reasons, the pickup address will only be shared after your order has been confirmed and paid.

If you are running late, please notify us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate, but we cannot guarantee availability outside your scheduled time.

Product Policy

All items are homemade and prepared in a home kitchen. Because of this, slight variations in appearance, size, and decoration may occur—this is part of the handmade process and does not affect quality or taste.

Our products are made fresh in small batches. For the best experience, we recommend consuming your cookies within 2–4 days of pickup.

Please note that our kitchen may handle common allergens such as dairy, eggs, wheat, and nuts. While we take care in preparation, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment. Customers with severe allergies should exercise caution.
